Overview

Amrita practices in all areas of intellectual property law: litigation and licensing, as well as preparation of patent, trademark and copyright applications.

Amrita serves on the litigation team defending complex cases involving intellectual property assets. She represents clients across industries to protect and enforce their intellectual property rights and defend claims against patent infringement and misappropriation in all forums.

She also prepares and prosecutes non-provisional and provisional patent applications for clients in electrical, computer and mechanical sectors.

Clients appreciate her education and work experience in computer and electrical engineering. As a former developer and senior engineer, Amrita helped international telecommunication, storage and semiconductor companies bring innovative ideas to fruition. Today, in her legal practice, she assists these same industry clients from a legal standpoint – with an operational understanding of what companies face when creating and protecting their ideas.

Outside the Office

Amrita enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids.

Her family owns a resort home near Carlyle Lake, Illinois, so they spend time exploring the lake and doing a variety of outdoor recreational activities around the lake.
