Drawing upon years of experience in senior legal and legislative positions on Capitol Hill, Adam advises on government relations and policy for a variety of industries, including energy and natural resources.

In the energy sector, he has lobbied and provided policy and administrative law support on behalf of a number of well-known clients at local, state and federal levels of government.

Previously, Adam served as the chief Democratic counsel and staff director for the House Veterans’ Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations; chief counsel and staff director to former House Majority Whip and Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn; associate counsel for former Sen. Paul Simon of Illinois; and senior legislative assistant for former Rep. Lane Evans of Illinois.

As a partner at Husch Blackwell LLP and a principal at Husch Blackwell Strategies, Adam lobbies and provides policy and administrative law support to a number of public and private sector clients at the local, state and federal levels of government.
