Shawn is a senior paralegal who focuses on labor and employment, construction and personal injury litigation.

Shawn is experienced in all phases of litigation at the state and federal levels, from pre-suit investigation to trial. He has assisted in many onsite discovery investigations, document reviews and productions. Shawn has assisted attorneys in numerous trials using various trial software systems.

His experience includes:

  • Served as lead paralegal and trial technologist in a lawsuit that resulted in the largest reported compensatory damages awarded in a wrongful death case tried in Kansas, largest negligent entrustment award in Kansas, and the largest reported “alter ego” damages award in Kansas. 
  • Served as lead paralegal in a $200,000 wrongful death settlement without filing a case.
  • Served as lead paralegal and trial technologist in several medical malpractice defense cases. 
  • Assisted in extensive onsite discovery, including a month long document review and production at a client’s office in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
