Catherine Hanaway, Ken Kingma and Rob Hurtt, attorneys in Husch Blackwell’s St. Louis office, have produced a seminar series entitled “Will and Trust Contests: How to Keep Your Clients (and You) Out of Court.” The seminar series, which was presented to the Greene County Estate Planning Council and the home offices at Edward Jones and Commerce Bank, focused on undue influence litigation regarding wills and trusts, use of no contest clauses and other best practices to prevent such litigation, financial exploitation of the elderly, and the law protecting persons who report financial exploitation of the elderly.
