Seminars
On January 1, 2009, Americans with Disability Act Amendments became law and the EEOC’s implementing regulations became effective in May 2011. As predicted, the Amendments have shifted the focus from what is a disability to what reasonable accommodations can and must the employer provide.

Please join Barb Grandjean, Chris Ottele and Mary Stuart for a breakfast roundtable on the impact of the Amendments on how businesses handle persons asserting a disability. In particular, we will discuss the interactive process, the request for and role of medical exams and the ADA’s impact on leaves under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
