When she signed with the Venturini Motorsports race team, professional driver Natalie Decker looked to Husch Blackwell for help in spreading the word. The then 19-year-old rookie sought to raise her profile beyond Wisconsin and attract investors and sponsorships that would be key to achieving her goal of national NASCAR success.
Our public relations team, led by Stephen J. Lyons, obtained media coverage by contacting sportswriters, racing publications and women's magazines nationwide. As a result of our efforts, Decker was featured in numerous publications and television reports. We also worked closely with People Magazine to arrange an interview and photographs.
