Tim focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, healthcare litigation, product liability and toxic tort matters, and intellectual property litigation. He has an active trial practice in state and federal courts throughout the country and has also handled appeals, arbitrations and mediations. He has worked with businesses ranging from Fortune 100 companies to closely held corporations.
In healthcare and medical defense, Tim regularly represents corporate healthcare clients and individual healthcare providers in a broad range of litigation, including professional malpractice defense. He also defends pharmacy benefit management (PBM) industry clients in litigation involving breach of contract, fiduciary duty, tortious interference and other types of business tort claims.
For product liability and toxic tort, Tim has represented national and regional companies in complex consolidated and class action cases such as chemical exposures, industrial tools, consumer products and environmental contaminants.
Tim’s intellectual property litigation practice includes patent, trademark and copyright matters. He has oppositions and cancellations experience before the federal Trademark Trial and Appeal Board of the Patent and Trademark Office.
Before joining the firm, Tim taught high school for two years through a volunteer program in the Federated States of Micronesia. He has worked with volunteer groups in Honduras, Bangladesh and Ethiopia on projects ranging from rural development to home construction.
