Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP expresses great pride in our colleague, Shirley A. Padmore-Mensah, for being honored by Washington University School of Law. The School’s Women’s Law Caucus will honor Ms. Padmore-Mensah at their International Women’s Day on March 6, 2008.
International Women’s Day recognizes the accomplishments of women in developed and developing countries. Since 2000, the Women’s Law Caucus has been committed to celebrating this international holiday.
Padmore-Mensah was selected as one of this year’s honorees because of her work in promoting the advancement of women in the legal profession and her many contributions to legal education as an alumna of Washington University School of Law.
This year’s other honorees include Mary Ann Clifford, Debbie Champion Snyder, Connie McFarland Butler, Joan Spiegel, and Missouri State Representative Rachel Storch. Past honorees include United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and former Missouri Supreme Court Chief Justice Ann K. Covington.
