Sherry is an attorney in our Intellectual Property Litigation group, counseling in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. She has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of technical areas, including pharmaceuticals, plastic films and aluminum extrusions, camera phones, ultrasonic welding, precision cutting tools and electric motors. She has a significant amount of courtroom experience, including handling arguments on Markman claim construction issues, motions and examining witnesses at trial. She has counseled in a number of high profile Hatch Waxman/Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigations, including patent infringement cases involving pharmaceutical products.
Among the complex cases Sherry has litigated in state and federal courts was one that involved the dismissal of a trade secret misappropriation claim brought against a national manufacturer of aluminum cans. She also provides counseling regarding the protection and enforcement of trade secret assets.
Sherry has significant trademark and copyright litigation experience, including the enforcement of trademarks in the insurance industry. In addition, she has argued before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
