Shelley joined the firm as an Associate in 1990 and was named a Partner in 1999.
With a practice emphasis on ERISA, HIPAA and healthcare litigation, Shelley has successfully defended welfare and pension plans, plan administrators, plan sponsors and trustees in class actions, breach of fiduciary duty claims and claims for benefits. In her healthcare litigation practice, she has represented hospitals, physicians and provider networks in contractual disputes, investigations, administrative matters, litigation matters before the boards of healing arts and medical staff matters such as those involving privileges and credentials. Shelley also represents companies in a variety of commercial disputes in state and federal court and in arbitration, and has successfully handled class action lawsuits.
