Bob's practice includes all aspects of creditor/debtor relationships, including representing secured and unsecured creditors seeking to protect collateral and other property interests and to maximize their recovery. He has particular experience representing commercial lenders, including regional and national banks, distressed debt purchasers and special servicers, seeking to enforce, restructure or workout commercial lending relationships. Most particularly, Bob has significant experience with all aspects of state and federal court receiverships, including representation of creditors, special servicers and receivers with utilizing receiverships to preserve, maximize the value of, and sell collateral and related business interests.
Bob also represents significant secured and unsecured interests in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases, including defending preference, fraudulent transfer and other bankruptcy avoidance actions. In addition, he has represented lenders in all non-bankruptcy aspects of loan enforcements, including pre- and post-judgment replevins, attachments, foreclosures, garnishments, executions, mechanic’s liens, receiverships, unlawful detainers and sales. He also represents banks relating to significant bank transaction disputes, including checks and electronic funds transfer.
