As a former Fortune 100 CEO in the energy, telecom and utility industries, Bob has extensive experience in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and energy regulatory and legislative strategies. He has served on the boards of directors of seven publicly traded companies, was elected chairman of the board of two New York Stock Exchange companies and three other publicly listed companies. Bob guided these companies in capital markets strategies involving initial public offerings with a combined valuation of more than $4 billion and more than 30 merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions, some of which surpassed $1 billion.
Companies under Bob’s leadership were recognized as “Risk Manager of the Year” by Energy Power and Risk Magazine, June 2002; “Utility of the Year” by Electric Light and Power Magazine, 1997; and “Employer of the Year” by the Human Resource Management Association, 1993.
Bob re-joined the firm as Partner in 2003 from Utilicorp United, Inc., later known as Aquila, Inc. Prior, he worked for the firm from 1987 to 1989 and as a securities broker from 1984 to 1985.
