Norman, a member of Husch Blackwell’s Real Estate, Development & Construction team, is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of experience who has served as lead trial counsel in dozens of jury and nonjury cases. He has a wide range of experience and has litigated extensively in state and federal courts nationwide and before state and federal agencies. Norman also has participated in numerous arbitrations and mediations and has served as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association, giving him a broad background in alternative dispute resolution.
Norman advises clients on matters involving real estate, manufacturing, employment, environmental, class action, corporate, securities, closely held business, ERISA and insurance issues. He has in-depth experience with complicated technical and regulatory issues and with matters involving scientific and other technical experts. He also counsels clients on insurance coverage, permitting, enforcement and administrative matters. His clients represent a broad range of industries such as real estate, retail, heavy manufacturing, chemicals and recycling.

Norman’s practice is not limited to corporate clients. He is proud of his efforts representing families whose homes have been contaminated by industrial pollution, resulting in, at the very least, a drastic decrease in property value and, at worst, property damage and serious health issues. His efforts on their behalf have resulted in remedies ranging from mandatory property cleanup, to provision of clean water supplies, to monetary reimbursement for property damage and medical expenses in excess of $65 million.
