Lauren is a results-driven attorney representing corporations in resolving toxic tort and product liability disputes as part of a national coordinating counsel team. Lauren provides extensive legal knowledge and experience in all phases of litigation, from examining witnesses and developing discovery to implementing trial strategies and negotiating settlements. She understands how to build compelling arguments that address highly technical subject matter and has successfully handled cases in jurisdictions that are extremely challenging for defendants.

Lauren is a partner in the firm's virtual office, The Link, and a member of the Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. She defends clients in connection with toxic tort, product liability, personal injury and premises liability cases.

Experience
  • Negotiates settlements on behalf of Fortune 500 companies in some of the most active and plaintiff-friendly jurisdictions in the country for mass tort and product liability claims.
  • Strategically collaborates with local counsel firms in the defense of thousands of active asbestos cases and implements trial strategies for manufacturers, suppliers, premises owners and employers against alleged occupational injury/disease.
  • Negotiated favorable settlement on the eve of trial on behalf of a friction product manufacturer in a product liability case with significant claimed damages pending in Kanawha County, West Virginia.
  • Secured dismissal in a product liability action on behalf of employer by successfully arguing that foreign law applied and the state's workers' compensation exclusivity provision barred the claim.
  • Obtained favorable verdict as first-chair trial counsel on behalf of regional transportation authority in a personal injury action in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
  • Prevailed on summary judgment on behalf of product manufacturer involving nuanced maritime law issue in connection with U.S. Navy-based asbestos claim.
Outside the Office

Lauren keeps her life in balance.

She is a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) with a daily personal practice of yoga and meditation. Off the mat and out of the office, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. The family enjoys ski trips to Colorado, traveling to Texas and Ohio to visit extended family, and summer trips to Maine. Lauren is learning to play tennis, enjoys reading in her free time, and has immense adoration for local Philadelphia sports teams and their mascots.
