A member of the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Education team, John has extensive experience at the trial and appellate level litigating Hatch-Waxman statutory patent infringement and other actions involving prescription pharmaceutical drugs. These pharmaceuticals include Wellbutrin XL (bupropion), Intuniv (guanfacine), Megace ES (megestrol acetate), Dexilant (dexlansoprazole), Lidoderm (lidocaine), Strattera (atomoxetine), Amrix (cyclobenzaprine), Luvox CR (fluvoxamine), Ryzolt (tramadol), Keppra XR (levetiracetam), Intermezzo (zolpidem) and Ambien CR (zolpidem).

Before entering the legal profession, John was an officer in the U.S. Navy. He was qualified as a surface warfare officer and served as ship’s navigator and boarding officer in support of various contingency operations where he earned multiple individual and unit citations. He also attended the Navy’s advanced FFG engineering school.
