Jessica helps domestic and global insurers navigate complex, high-exposure insurance coverage disputes.
Jessica advises and represents insurers on a broad range of first- and third-party insurance coverage matters, including claims under product recall, product contamination, property, commercial general liability, directors and officers, employment practices, life, professional liability, cyber, marine cargo, representations and warranties, workers’ compensation, and excess policies, as well as reinsurance contracts. She regularly works with the London market and is adept at addressing the intricacies involved in reaching her clients' objectives.
Jessica oversees litigation in federal and state courts throughout the nation involving contractual and extracontractual claims. She regularly represents companies and individuals in commercial litigation, including breach of contract and technology matters, and has obtained numerous favorable verdicts and outcomes on behalf of her clients.
In addition, Jessica also coordinates and implements loss mitigation strategies, including subrogation efforts, depending on her clients’ objectives. Jessica is sensitive to clients’ internal and external business relationships and operational goals that run parallel to legal objectives.
Jessica sits on the Board of Directors for the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, which helps communities through grants, volunteer service and leadership. She also sits on the Board of Directors for the Colorado Lawyers Association, a nonpartisan consortium of 70 Colorado law firms dedicated to increasing opportunities for children and disadvantaged communities through pro bono legal advocacy and litigation.
