Known as a strong trial lawyer and skillful negotiator, Dan assertively protects the interests of his business clients in product liability claims and commercial disputes. He persuasively presents the facts and argues the law at the trial and appellate levels. During jury trials, he uses creative approaches in order to effectively communicate burdensome evidence to lay juries, consistently ensuring the best possible outcomes for corporate clients. He also provides counsel in transactions for the purchase, sale and licensing of high-technology products and services.
A member of Husch Blackwell’s Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation team, Dan secures favorable litigation results that reduce costs for national corporate clients. His accomplishments as a litigator and a supervisor of litigation entail forming and managing multiple-role teams of national and local counsel in hundreds of cases in more than 40 jurisdictions.
Dan is currently Husch Blackwell’s full-time resident New York attorney, where he operates from several locations in the New York City metropolitan area. He handles cases throughout New York State, as well as in other jurisdictions where he is licensed, or operates with local co-counsel.

In addition, Dan has implemented programs for reducing/avoiding liability by preparing product warnings, developing and implementing recalls, training client personnel in report writing and recordkeeping, drafting contract provisions that require suppliers to indemnity clients, and developing and implementing bad venue avoidance strategies.
Dan previously served the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an Assistant Attorney General.
