Pete concentrates his practice in health law and information management, privacy and security matters. He frequently advises clients on healthcare contracting, health information management, research compliance, fraud and abuse, EMTALA, HIPAA/HITECH, managed care, medical staff, Medicare/Medicaid, patient care, operational, regulatory and transactional issues.
A former assistant general counsel for the Missouri Department of Mental Health, he was named a Husch Blackwell Partner in 2006.
Pete has also served as assistant professor of psychiatry and law at the University of
Missouri - Kansas City School of Medicine.
