Why would the ESOP community want more regulation? This session will provide background on the mandate to the DOL to issue a final regulation defining "adequate consideration" for ESOPs. The presenter will describe the critical importance of this definition for ESOPs, why the ESOP community has been pushing for regulation, and the potential impact that such a regulation could have on ESOP formation.
