Omaha’s Midlands Business Journal named Husch Blackwell Partner Adam S. Kirshenbaum to the 40 Under 40 Class of 2011. The award honors 40 area leaders under the age of 40 for their accomplishments as business and community leaders.
Kirshenbaum is Hiring Partner of Husch Blackwell’s Omaha, Neb., office, and also manages the international financing work for the firm. Kirshenbaum leads teams representing foreign banks and other lenders making loans to U.S. entities and to non-U.S. entities acquiring U.S. assets. As a transaction attorney, he has also been involved in several projects that have benefited the Omaha business community, including leading numerous successful lending transactions for U.S. lenders, and successfully creating and closing financings for private equity funds. He has also worked on several successful merger and acquisition transactions.
Committed to the advancement of his community, Kirshenbaum played an integral role in the formation of the Nebraska Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth and is a member of the group’s event planning committee. He has also previously served on the Board of Directors for the Midlands Venture Forum, which educates and creates regional support for local entrepreneurs. In addition, Kirshenbaum has served in many leadership capacities with Temple Israel, and is a member of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce. In 2010, Kirshenbaum graduated from the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Omaha program, which helped further develop his leadership skills.
