Mike concentrates his practice in two major areas: toxic tort and environmental litigation and business litigation. In the toxic tort and environmental area, he represents clients in mass tort, property damage, personal injury and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) litigation involving a variety of contaminants, including mercury and chlorinated solvents.
Mike has a broad range of trial experience in complex litigation and represents defendants and plaintiffs in banking, real estate, contracts, antitrust and securities litigation. He also works closely with the firm’s intellectual property lawyers as lead trial counsel in patent and trademark litigation. Mike has represented hog and cattle processors in matters involving supply contracts and constitutional issues over pricing.
