Himes Also Serves as Special Events Committee Co-Chair and Memphis Bar Association Representative
Husch Blackwell’s Jennifer Powers Himes was recently elected Vice-President of The Association for Women Attorneys of Memphis. Himes was also named Special Events Committee Co-Chair and will serve as The Association’s Memphis Bar Association Representative. Following her 2012 service as Vice-President, Himes will ascend to the position of President-Elect in 2013 and President in 2014.
Founded in 1979, The Association for Women Attorneys is dedicated to serving the community, particularly in regard to the legal needs of women and supporting women who seek careers in law.
Senior Counsel in the firm's Memphis, Tenn., office, Himes practices Insolvency law. She has significant experience handling Chapter 11 and 12 bankruptcy cases, creditors’ rights matters and commercial litigation. In addition to her involvement in The Association for Women Attorneys, Himes is also a member of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Memphis Bar Association.
