Laura focuses on patent prosecution and provides scientific analyses in litigation matters. She has an extensive background in biotechnology and chemistry, with more than 12 years of practical experience as a research chemist. Laura received her PhD. in organic chemistry from Northwestern University where she studied the structure and function of chemically modified DNA. She also spent several years as a National Institute of Health (NIH) Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago, studying DNA-protein interactions. Laura has co-authored several articles regarding her research and has lectured extensively about her scientific work.
