Kenny practices in the areas of real estate, corporate, environmental and bankruptcy law as well as business and estate planning. He represents many clients in commercial and residential real estate transactions. Kenny also advises various financial institutions on lending issues and loan documentation. Additionally, he assists clients acquiring or divesting businesses and locations by negotiating contractual terms, performing due diligence, and advising on entity formation. Many clients rely on Kenny's counsel regarding day-to-day operations such as review of loan documents, equipment leases, minimum purchase agreements, sales agency agreements, marketing agreements and other contracts.
In law school, Kenny received many honors: the Rickert Award for Academic Achievement; The Order of the Coif recognition as a Harno Fellow and induction into Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.
Before beginning his legal career, Kenny was a branch manager and credit analyst for Farm Credit Services of Northwest Illinois.
