Jim, co-chair of the firm's Business Litigation Department and a member of the firm's Partner Board, focuses his practice on complex business litigation, including class actions and multiparty litigation. An accomplished trial attorney, Jim has successfully tried numerous jury and nonjury cases in state and federal courts involving breach of contract, consumer fraud and other types of business tort cases.
Jim routinely represents Fortune 500 companies in a number of industries, including healthcare, education, telecommunications, banking and finance, agriculture and energy. His clients also include small and midsize companies, as well as entrepreneurs involved in complex business litigation.
Jim also has substantial experience in employment law, including representing clients in noncompetition and nonsolicitation matters and related injunction litigation in federal and state courts.
