Jeanine concentrates her practice in complex business litigation. She advises clients in matters involving commercial and government disputes, products liability, healthcare issues, intellectual property and ERISA (Employee Retirement Income Security Act). Jeanine defends substantial putative class actions and shareholder derivative lawsuits. Within litigation, she consults with firm attorneys and clients on electronic discovery issues, namely the preservation, identification, collection, review and production of electronic data and documents from a wide array of sources. Jeanine writes articles and frequently speaks on issues relating to electronic discovery. She supervises and coordinates large teams in electronic discovery projects. She represents and counsels Fortune 500 companies that respond to demands for significant volumes of electronic data in civil litigation and government investigations.
Jeanine represents Fortune 500 companies in responding to Civil Investigation Demands (CID) on a variety of issues, including advertising, marketing and pricing. She also served as outside counsel to a Special Litigation Committee for a large government contractor in investigating claims against the directors and officers arising out of government contract disputes.
In healthcare litigation, Jeanine represents providers in matters such as insurance disputes, pricing issues (AWP, or average wholesale price), ERISA, Medicare and pharmaceutical products. She also consults with healthcare providers in the retention, identification, collection and production of sensitive and confidential electronic data for litigation use.
