Jason concentrates his practice on representing clients in both state and federal employment disputes. He has successfully defended employers against claims of discrimination and retaliation and regularly represents employers during the investigation and litigation stages. Additionally, Jason helps to advise employers in day-to-day legal matters and also has represented several clients in obtaining default or summary judgments on complex commercial matters.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Jason worked as a litigation association at Holme Roberts & Owen until 2007. From 2007 until 2009, Jason was a Research Analyst at the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System at the University of Denver, a think tank devoted to improving the civil litigation system.
