Spike Lynch Admitted to American College of Trial Lawyers

Husch Blackwell's William A. "Spike" Lynch has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in America. The March 5 induction ceremony took place before an audience of 700 attendees at the 2011 Spring Meeting of the College in San Antonio, Texas.

Lynch is a Partner in the firm's Kansas City, Mo., office, Co-Chair of the firm's Business Litigation department and a member of the firm's Partner Board. He advises clients in a wide variety of complex commercial and business litigation cases. In addition, Lynch has handled numerous personal injury actions in a variety of settings, including products liability and health care defense. He has tried over 70 jury trials in addition to many bench trials and arbitrations in his 38 years of practice.

Founded in 1950, the College is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Fellowship in the College is extended by invitation only, and only after careful investigation, to those experienced trial lawyers who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality.

Lawyers must have a minimum 15 years of trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship. Membership in the College cannot exceed one percent of the total lawyer population of any state or province. There are currently 5,863 of Fellows in the United States and Canada, including active, Emeritus, Judicial and Honorary Fellows.
