Six Nebraska Husch Blackwell Attorneys Named to 2015 Great Plains Super Lawyers and Rising Stars

Six Husch Blackwell attorneys in Nebraska have been selected for inclusion the 2015 Great Plains Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. Each year, no more than five percent of attorneys in the state are named to the Super Lawyers list; no more than 2.5 percent are named to the Rising Stars list. The states of Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota are included in the Great Plains listings.

In the Husch Blackwell Lincoln office, Gene Summerlin was named to the 2015 Great Plains Super Lawyers list in the category of Business Litigation. In the firm’s Omaha office, the following attorneys were named to the list: Michaelle L. Baumert in Labor and Employment; Harold J. Daub Jr. in Health Care; and Michael S. Degan in Business Litigation. Additionally in the firm’s Omaha office, David M. Newman and Henry L. Wiedrich were selected to the 2015 Great Plains Rising Stars list in the categories of Business Litigation and Labor and Employment, respectively.

Super Lawyers is a rating service of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selection process includes a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The Rising Star category is for attorneys who are under 40 years old or who have fewer than ten years of legal experience.
