Husch Blackwell D.C. Office Managing Partner and Governmental Affairs leader Steve Kupka welcomed Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuño to the firm's Washington, D.C. office on September 21. A group of approximately 30 business leaders and supporters attended the luncheon event in support of the Republican Governors Association.

Gov. Fortuño's remarks focused the 2012 election cycle, and the power and influence of America's Hispanic voters.

One of Husch Blackwell's Senior Advisors in the Governmental Affairs group is Cesar Cabrera, who formerly served as Executive Director of the Republic Party of Puerto Rico (1992-2004) and was Chairman of the Puerto Rico Delegation to the 2000 Republican National Convention. Cabrera serves Husch Blackwell clients' Governmental Affairs needs from his office in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
