On Being A Black Lawyer named Husch Blackwell Partner Singleton McAllister one of the nation’s 50 “Top Lobbyists & Influencers” in 2014. Profiled in OBABL’s The Caucus Issue, McAllister was identified as being a longstanding leader in government relations and public policy. She has served in numerous positions within the U.S. House of Representatives and in 1996, President Clinton appointed her General Counsel to the U.S. Agency for International Development where she was chief legal counsel for more than 72 U.S. missions worldwide. Additionally, McAllister is a former chair of the National Women Business Center and former president of Women in Government Relations Inc. Currently, McAllister utilizes her experience while representing clients – companies and trade associations – throughout a wide range of industries in government relations matters related to international trade, transportation, energy and healthcare. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for Alliant Energy Inc., and United Rentals.
