Husch Blackwell attorney Kristin Walker recently relocated from the firm's Kansas City office to its Denver office. She practices in the area of Real Estate & Development.

Walker’s practice focuses on traditional real estate transactions and real estate development. She has successfully closed millions of dollars in commercial real estate sale and purchase transactions, served as counsel for both landlords and tenants in retail, office and manufacturing lease transactions, and represented borrowers in closing significant commercial loan transactions.
Walker also has represented clients on a variety of land use matters throughout the country. She has assisted in all areas of real estate development transactions, including zoning, redevelopment, public financing, economic development and incentives, including Tax Increment Financing, Chapter 353 Incentives and the formation of Transportation Development Districts. She is an accredited LEED Green Associate through the Green Building Certification Institute Accreditation Program.
Walker joined the firm as an Associate in 2006, after earning her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri - Columbia School of Law. While in law school, she was a Note and Comment Editor for the Missouri Law Review. She earned her B.S.B.A. in Finance and Real Estate from the University of Missouri - Columbia in 2003.
