Husch Blackwell welcomes Theresa L. Critchfield to the firm’s Chattanooga, Tenn., office as an Associate, where she will focus her practice in the area of Insolvency.
Critchfield previously practiced insolvency, general contract and commercial litigation law at a Chattanooga-based firm. Critchfield’s clientele included regional and national creditors, banks and student loan guaranty agencies, general contractors and construction companies. In addition, she has engaged in a wide variety of insolvency matters, including multi-million-dollar Chapter 11 reorganizations and the successful retention of substantial creditor assets.
Critchfield received her J.D. from Mercer University School of Law (2005) in Macon, Ga., as a Jesse Mercer Scholar, where she graduated Order of the Barristers and was awarded the James C. Estes Moot Court Award. She received her B.B.A., cum laude, from Mercer University (2002).
