Rachael Casey Joins Intellectual Property Group

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Rachael C. Casey joined the firm's Chicago office as an Associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation department. Casey received her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center (2011), where she earned the 2010 Houston Law Review Writing Award for Best Paper in the area of Health Law. Prior to law school, Casey performed medical research as a scientist at NASA's Johnson Space Center (2005-2008), was an instructor and postdoctoral fellow at Rush University Medical College (2002-2005) and a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Minnesota (1998-2002). Casey received her Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Rush University Medical College (1998) and her B.S. in Biology at the University of Wisconsin (1992).

A total of 10 fall associates joined Husch Blackwell this fall. In Missouri: five associates joined in St. Louis, three in Kansas City and one in Springfield, Missouri.
