Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce plans to relocate the firm’s Omaha office to 14606 Branch St., a two building, 200,000 square foot campus owned by Goldenrod Companies. The firm’s current lease at 13330 California Street, where the firm’s Omaha office has been located since 2013, expires November 2023.

Construction on the new space began in May and will be completed by JE Dunn. Partners by Design is serving as the architect. The firm anticipates occupying the new office in November 2023.

“Over the past few years our workplace strategy team has been transforming our physical offices in ways that support the firm’s culture and strategies,” said Adam Charlsen, Husch Blackwell’s Omaha Office Managing Partner. “We’re eager to partner with JE Dunn and Partners by Design to complete the office build out that provides state-of-the-art amenities, which align with our work-from-anywhere strategy. The Omaha team is energized about officing along the West Dodge corridor and being a part of the growing Heartwood Preserve development. Our new home will have a lot to offer to our attorneys, staff, and clients. I am excited for this new chapter.”

The firm will lease approximately 14,000 square feet with the build out resembling other recent Husch Blackwell brick-and-mortar renovations across the portfolio through a combination of uniform office sizes, smarter uses of space, and more hoteling and common areas. The firm has also placed a priority on floor plan designs that provide ample natural lighting throughout the office and state-of-the-art technological amenities that can facilitate greater client interaction.

“As a Nebraska native, Omaha holds a special place in my heart. The city is a hub for the food and agribusiness industry—a sector we have extensive experience serving clients in,” said Catherine Hanaway, Husch Blackwell’s Chair. “We are delighted to reinforce our commitment to the City of Omaha. Our new office will continue to promote an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and wellness.”

In addition to Husch Blackwell, other tenants on the campus include JE Dunn, Goldenrod Companies, Carson Group and Dreamweaver Foundation.
