Husch Blackwell Receives High Rankings, Praise from Clients in Chambers USA 2013

Chambers and Partners has released its 2013 rankings of America’s leading law firms and lawyers, and Husch Blackwell continues to maintain its top status in several areas of practice. Considered one of the leading legal ratings agencies in the United States, Chambers USA 2013 ranked Husch Blackwell among the top firms in Corporate/Commercial, Corporate/M&A, Environment, Intellectual Property, Labor & EmploymentLitigation: General Commercial and Real Estate.

Chambers called Husch Blackwell’s Corporate/Commercial team a key player in the field, with “a broad offering of expertise including corporate governance, corporate finance, M&A and investment management.” A client summarized, “They are good at listening and understanding what kind of deal we want done, and work hard to get it done.”

With regards to the firm’s Corporate/M&A work, a client said, “They’re the very best value for the money we spend and have a good continuity of client service.”

Husch Blackwell’s Environmental team was recognized for operating a national practice that is regularly called upon to advise on international issues. “The group maintains strong litigation expertise and routinely offers compliance counseling to clients,” Chambers observed.

In the area of Intellectual Property, the firm was shown to have a “well-resourced team…equipped to handle the full range of IP work, including multimillion-dollar licensing and litigation matters.” A client said Husch Blackwell is “a very good firm that does excellent work for us.”

Chambers notes Husch Blackwell’s Labor & Employment group has “a forte in defending discrimination litigation and wage and hour class actions, while it also places a strong emphasis on preventive advice.”
