Memphis Area Legal Services (MALS) named Husch Blackwell a 2010 Difference Maker in their annual Campaign for Equal Justice. MALS presents the award to law firms who have made significant financial contributions in support of its mission: To provide excellence in legal advocacy to those in need. A total of 20 firms were named 2010 Difference Makers.
Husch Blackwell Partner Mark Bailey of the firm's Memphis, Tenn., office accepted the award on behalf of the firm at an award ceremony February 9. In 2010, Bailey performed pro bono work for MALS. "It's a really rewarding experience," Bailey said. "MALS does a lot of good work for the Memphis community, and I'm glad our firm supports their efforts."
