Judd Treeman Joins Litigation Team
Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Judd M. Treeman has joined the firm’s Kansas City, Mo., office as an Associate. Treeman joins the Business Litigation group, bringing experience handling several litigation defense cases as lead attorney. Treeman has litigated real estate, product liability, construction, insurance fraud, corporate fraud and antitrust cases, among other matters, including jury trials and appeals. He is also knowledgeable in Insolvency, and has assisted clients with adversary proceedings, bankruptcy litigation and non-bankruptcy remedies.
In addition to his legal work, Treeman serves as Vice President of the Treeman Family Foundation, a charitable organization founded by his late father. A key initiative of the Foundation is the protection of waterfowl habitat in Oklahoma.
Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Treeman was an Associate in the Houston office of Seyfarth Shaw (2009-2011). Treeman received his J.D. from Emory University School of Law (2009), where he received several awards and scholarships for academic performance, spearheaded editorial responsibilities of the Emory Bankruptcy Developments Journal as Executive Managing Editor, and worked closely with Emory’s Center for Studies in Law and Religion. Treeman also obtained a Master of Theological Studies (M.T.S.) from Emory University (2009). He received his B.A. from the University of Tulsa (2005).
