Matthew Gartner Joins St. Louis Office

Husch Blackwell is pleased to announce that Matthew Gartner has joined the firm's St. Louis, Mo., office as an Associate. He will focus his practice in corporate bankruptcy and insolvency law.

Prior to joining the firm, Gartner practiced law in the Chicago office of the international law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP (2006-2011). While there, Gartner practiced corporate bankruptcy law, representing large and mid-market corporate debtors, banks and private equity funds in all stages of the bankruptcy process and handling a wide variety of matters including litigation, distressed asset sales and financing arrangements.

Gartner earned his J.D. from Washington University School of Law (2006), where he received a CALI Excellence for the Future Award and was on the Dean's List. Before entering law school, Gartner received his B.A. from Saint Louis University (1996) and taught high school students at Rockhurst High School in Kansas City (1996-1997) and at DeSmet Jesuit High School (1997-2002).

Husch Blackwell's Insolvency attorneys represent clients dealing with financially distressed enterprises regarding commercial financial issues.
