A Husch Blackwell Biofuels team, led by Partner David Gardels, assisted Green Plains Inc., in the completion of a $225 million senior secured credit facility. The facility provides Green Plains with increased cash flow and greater access to capital markets. Based in Omaha, Neb., Green Plains is a vertically integrated ethanol producer with 12 plants located throughout the Midwest capable of producing one billion gallons of ethanol annually.
