Today, Husch Blackwell announced the completion of construction on its new, state-of-the-art office space in Pembroke’s newly renovated 1801 Penn, located at 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue in downtown Washington, DC. Employees will transition to the new office beginning today.

“We are excited for this new chapter in our nation’s capital,” said Kyle Gilster, Husch Blackwell’s Washington, DC office managing partner. “We are committed to Washington, DC and the clients we serve here. Our new office space affords us the opportunity for continued growth."

The firm will occupy 1810 Penn’s entire 10th floor and part of the 11th floor, a total of 22,800 square feet. Employees will enjoy an abundance of amenities and unique features designed to meet the needs of employees and encourage their success and well-being, both personally and professionally.

Visitors to Husch Blackwell’s new office space will be greeted in the firm’s 10th-floor lobby, which features floor-to-ceiling glazing and enlarged windows, which are throughout the office space to increase natural light to the workspaces. The office is situated in the city’s desirable downtown core, two blocks from the White House, near the orange, blue, silver and red metro lines and is across from Edward R. Murrow Park, The World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.

Rand Construction served as Husch Blackwell’s construction manager and Prestidge Consulting provided project management services.

Husch Blackwell’s Washington office is resident to 48 attorneys spanning multiple practice areas and 15 administrative personnel. The office was founded in 2005 and continues to attract top practitioners, particularly in the areas of international trade law, government contracts, litigation, and energy regulatory.
