Children’s Mercy Hospitals and Clinics has named Husch Blackwell attorney Robin Foster its next general counsel. Foster joined Husch Blackwell in 1982 immediately upon graduating from law school and was named a Partner in 1989. He has extensive experience representing clients in the healthcare, energy and other sectors and has served in multiple leadership roles at the firm, including three years on the firm’s Advisory Board.

“Robin is a talented lawyer with exceptional skills,” said Maurice Watson, Chairman of Husch Blackwell. “Throughout his legal career, he has demonstrated incomparable commitment to exceeding client expectations. He has also been a terrific Husch Blackwell partner. While the firm will certainly miss Robin, we are pleased he is joining Children’s Mercy as its new general counsel. Children’s Mercy, which our law firm is proud to serve, is a leading clinical, research and teaching pediatric health system, with an international reputation. I can think of no finer lawyer than Robin to serve and support Children’s Mercy as its chief counsel.”
