Husch Blackwell Adds Two Associates in St. Louis

Lisa M. Luetkemeyer and Jillian M. Mueller have joined Husch Blackwell’s St. Louis, Mo., office as associates. Luetkemeyer joins the firm’s Healthcare, Life Sciences & Pharmaceuticals team, and Mueller advises clients on their Labor & Employment needs.

Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Luetkemeyer assisted healthcare industry clients while practicing in a St. Louis-based firm (2011-2014). Focusing on regulatory, compliance, transactional and operational matters, Luetkemeyer counsels hospitals and health care organizations on licensing and accreditation, Medicare and Medicaid programs, and staff credentialing, governance and organization. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for Hearing and Speech in St. Louis, Mo.

Luetkemeyer received her J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Woolsack, from Saint Louis University School of Law (2011), where she also received a Certificate in Health Law. She served as footnotes managing editor, staff editor and executive board member of the school’s Journal of Health Law and Policy. Luetkemeyer also served as a summer associate for Husch Blackwell during law school (2010), assisting healthcare attorneys. Luetkemeyer received her M.H.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Missouri – Columbia (1999) and her B.A. from Truman State University in Kirksville, Mo. (1995).

Mueller previously served as a law clerk for the Hon. José M. López, Superior Court of the District of Columbia and presiding judge of the Domestic Violence Unit (2012-2013). Mueller drafted court orders, responded to motions in criminal and family law cases and researched emerging issues in domestic violence law.

Mueller received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School in Washington, D.C. (2012), where she was a member of the Mock Trial Board and managing editor of the student newspaper, Nota Bene. She also served as a court advocacy intern for Survivors and Advocates for Empowerment, Inc. (2011). Mueller received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University (2009).
