Husch Blackwell Adds Senior Counsel Anne Cartwright to Education Law Group

Husch Blackwell welcomes Anne D. Cartwright as Senior Counsel in the firm’s Kansas City office, where she will represent Educational Institutions, handling governance, risk-management, compliance, faculty, student and general employment matters.

 

Prior to joining Husch Blackwell, Cartwright was a Judicial Clerk for the Hon. Nanette Laughrey, U.S. District Court, Western District Court of Missouri (2008-2010). Prior to her clerkship, Cartwright spent six years as a litigator in Chicago and Kansas City firms; on secondment, she served as in-house litigation counsel to a Fortune 100 company. Cartwright began her legal career as a Judicial Clerk for the Hon. Charles Norgle, Sr., U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois (1995-1997).

 

Cartwright received her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (1995), where she was a member of the National Moot Court Team. Cartwright received her B.A. from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Ill. (1991).
