Victoria Sitz Joins Corporate Team

Husch Blackwell welcomes Victoria H. Sitz to its Omaha, Neb., office. Sitz joins as Senior Counsel in the Corporate group, where she will work with clients on Securities and Mergers & Acquisitions, among other matters.

Sitz previously worked at the international payment systems company ACI Worldwide, Inc., most recently as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel (2004-2011). Sitz oversaw ACI's compliance with applicable securities law and exchange regulations, provided legal counsel and guidance on strategic company initiatives and counseled officers, directors and managers on corporate governance and general corporate matters. Additionally, Sitz assisted with corporate disclosure matters including earnings releases, managed litigation and arbitrations affecting the company, provided legal counsel to the human resources department and administered and maintained the company's global equity compensation program, international corporate structure intellectual property portfolio. Prior to working for ACI, Sitz was a Partner at an Omaha-based law firm, practicing Corporate, Banking and Securities, Technology and Intellectual Property law (1997-2004).

Sitz received her J.D., with high distinction, from the University of Nebraska College of Law (1997), where she graduated Order of the Coif and was Articles Editor for Nebraska Law Review and received four CALI Excellence for the Future awards. She received her B.A. from the University of Nebraska (1994), where she was a member of the Golden Key and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Societies.
