Financial Services Attorney Joins Husch Blackwell’s St. Louis Office

Husch Blackwell welcomes Meghan A. Kloth to its St. Louis, Mo., office. She is the newest member of the firm’s Financial Services industry team.

Kloth was previously an associate at the financial services law firm Weiner Brodsky Kider PC, in Washington, D.C. While there, she advised clients on state and federal regulatory and compliance matters related to the industry. She also counseled financial institutions, mortgage lenders and mortgage brokers on state regulatory approval and licensing requirements, and provided regulatory counsel in connection with changes of control, mergers, and acquisitions of mortgage entities.

Previously, Kloth was a legal analyst with Access Partnership PLLC, where she provided legal, regulatory and policy advice to international telecommunications clients. Prior to that, she was a clerk in Office of the Chief Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration.

Kloth received her J.D., cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law (2010), where she was articles editor for the Administrative Law Review. She received a Bachelor of Journalism degree and a B.A. in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia (2007), where she was a Dean’s List Scholar.
