Chris Miller To Receive Women's Justice Trial Practitioner Award

Husch Blackwell Sanders attorney Christine F. Miller will be named a 2010 recipient of Missouri Lawyers Weekly's Trial Practitioner Award, one of the honors presented yearly at the Women's Justice Awards ceremony.

The Women's Justice Awards honor women who stand out in the legal community. According to Missouri Lawyers Weekly, the Trial Practitioner Award is presented to women trial practitioners who demonstrate leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment, and are committed to improving the quality of justice or contributing to the betterment of the profession.

A Partner in the firm's St. Louis office, Miller is Chair of the firm's Litigation division and a member of the Partner Board. Part of Miller's practice is focused in the areas of employment and commercial litigation and she has tried many such cases. She has also handled many cases alleging personal injury due to negligence or strict liability, with particular emphasis in the area of products liability defense, and has obtained many defense verdicts. Miller has received previous media recognition for her skill as a trial attorney including being named in the 2010 edition of Benchmark Litigation as a "local litigation star."

Miller will receive her award at the annual awards ceremony April 22 at The Four Seasons Hotel in St. Louis.
