Jenna Brofsky, Cori Casey Turner, Megan Phillips, and Allison Minicky have contributed to American Health Law Association’s (AHLA) second edition of Health Care Contracts: A Clause-By-Clause Guide to Drafting and Negotiation.

Brofsky, a Kansas City-based partner in Husch Blackwell’s Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Education business unit, advises employers on compliance with federal and state employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Equal Pay Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), as well as numerous wage payment statutes. Turner advises healthcare clients, such as academic medical centers and CLIA-certified laboratories, on complex regulatory compliance and reimbursement-repayment matters, as well as contractual issues, strategic affiliations, and leadership transitions. Phillips works closely with clients, including large health systems, adult and pediatric hospitals, physician practices and wellness companies, to address complicated situations that arise under the Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act and state laws.

Both Turner and Phillips, senior counsel, are members of the firm's Healthcare group. Minicky is based in St. Louis and is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment practice group.

Already a bestselling title, the second edition of Health Care Contracts: A Clause-By-Clause Guide to Drafting and Negotiation includes new chapters on non-competes, insurance, interoperability, and negotiating strategies. Expert analysis includes numerous examples of sample contract language, discussions on the context in which they are used, and practical advice for negotiation.
