The Academy of Hospitality Industry Attorneys has elected Husch Blackwell’s Paul Pautler to its Board of Directors. Pautler has been an AHIA member since 2005 and was appointed to the board at the AHIA fall meeting in November 2013. His term began immediately and runs through 2016.
AHIA is a select membership of attorneys who have demonstrated experience, competence and recognition in handling legal matters for clients in the hospitality industry. The organization is committed to promoting professionalism and education and improved communication to create a network of attorneys to improve legal services to clients in the hotel, restaurant, hospitality, travel, meeting, convention, tourism and related industries.
A partner in Husch Blackwell’s Kansas City, Mo., office, Pautler advises companies on labor and employment matters, and he is co-chair of the firm’s Hospitality group. In this capacity, Pautler advises and defends national restaurant chains, hotels and casinos across the country, particularly in labor and employment-related matters.
