A Partner in the firm's Omaha, Nebraska, office, Daub is an active member and leader of civic and charitable organizations in Omaha and across Nebraska and was inducted into the Omaha Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame in 2004. Daub served two terms as the Mayor of Omaha and four terms in the U.S. House of Representatives with positions on the House Ways and Means, Public Works & Transportation, Government Operations and Small Business Committees. Daub also served on the boards of the U.S. Conference of Mayors and National League of Cities and a six-year term as a U.S. Senate-confirmed, Presidential appointee and Chairman of the permanent, statutory Social Security Advisory Board. He also recently served as the Nebraska Republican Party National Committeeman, as well as the McCain 2008 State General Chairman. As a member of the firm's Governmental Affairs practice, Daub provides business-to-government contracting services and issues management to corporate clients. He focuses on legislative and administrative strategies and issues such as corporate structure analysis, federal healthcare compliance and major federal tax legislation.
